ABOUT US
Bud and Ralph's Appliance Service was established in 1986 when Bud Olson and Ralph Tack purchased the appliance and service department from Goodman's Furniture and Appliance. After borrowing space from Goodman’s for over a year, we moved to our current location in 1988. The business started with just two service vans operating while Bud and Ralph repaired appliances in the shop. Since then, we've grown to have up to 14 full and part-time employees, operating four vans and having several techs in the shop. We proudly continue to service the Grand Forks and surrounding areas, and are continually dedicated to professional service. After 40 years, we started to expand to begin covering the Fargo-Moorhead area as well as part of an ambitious future growth and service plan.
Bud & Ralph's has been awarded the Grand Forks Herald's "People's Choice for Best Appliance Repair" multiple times. With Bud’s passing in 2001, his daughter Jane took over the reins. With Jane’s retirement in 2020, and Ralph’s passing in 2025, the torch has now passed to an employee as part of the new generation dedicated to quality service.
We provide service on most major appliances and our techs are factory trained and warranty authorized for all the major brands. We also sell appliance parts over the counter as well as used, reconditioned appliances. Our skilled team of dedicated service professionals look forward to helping you with all your appliance repair needs.
